Free LaptopsI have seen a few websites offering free laptops recently, and it sounds too good to be true, so I decided to check it out. Here is what I did: I went to laptops.freepay.com first. It asks you to enter your email address, and you need to be careful to "un-check" the box that asks if you want junk email for the rest of your life. Next you get to read the terms and conditions. You need to provide a correct postal address, signup with one of their sponsors, refer ten of your friends who all also need to sign up for an offer, and you have to do all of that within 90 days. So, no free laptop for me then :(
Next I went to getgiftsforfree.com, where once again you have to enter your email address before you can find out anything. After all the form filling you discover that the company is based in Slovakia and allows you to enter a competition to get a free laptop when you buy one of their products. So, no free laptop here either :( Next I went to freegifts.cc and discovered that this is just freepay.com under a different name. So, still no free laptop for me :( Finally in desperation I tried prizeboom.com, and once again they ask for the email address first. I soon discovered that this site just takes all your details then enters you into a competition for a free laptop. So, in conclusion, there are no really free laptops on any websites I tried. Maybe that won't come as a shock to you. Back home |
