| http://www.bhplans.com/ | Bob Holman produces very modern, well drawn plans of vintage and old-time aeroplanes. These include rubber-powered, free fight, gas, and SAM gliders. A great nostalgia site. |

There is probably nothing more satisfying in the entire hobby of RC planes than making a plane from "raw" materials and an old, obscure plan. You start with that lovely large sheet of paper and a few sheets of balsa, and hours, weeks, even months later, finish your creation. It's even better when she flies! I'm not such an experienced modeller, and I have to say that I've been tempted by too many ARTF planes recently, but I always look back with great fondness on the days spent studying that old bipe plan that I photocopied from an ancient copy of RCME that I found in Crawley library!
